HEALTH CHECKUP CAMP

Health is wealth. LIGHTS OF HOPE  team understands the importance of health. To see that the LIGHTS OF HOPE team had organized one medical checkup for underprivileged children. The camp was held on 24th February 2019. The medical camp was organized to focus on the child’s health perspective. To check the lack of vitamins in their body and gave the idea of how to tackle that deficiency. In this event, professional doctors and laboratories were invited by the leaders to ensure monitoring. Firstly, a full body checkup was initiated by a physician; in between, they had checked the healthfulness of each child. Next, laboratory staff was come into action and took the blood sample of every infant. In addition, medical officers had portrayed the role of regular medical assistance.

In the LIGHTS OF HOPE (social work) team, few members are doctor by profession. They took the initiative to help the medical team check the body weight, height, and blood pressure of children. If any children were found with a vitamin deficiency, doctors had given vitamin tablets and treated them according to need. Health examination was gratefully wrapped up. Young youth got the medical checkup and gained information regarding how crucial medical checkup is.
