DIYA MAKING COMPETITION

“Give light & people will find the way”

on the festival of lights considering the above quote our team light of hope tried to give light to an unprivileged kid that they can find their way. We gathered at our center by 9:30 a.m. and called children. Due to covid pandemic, all precautions are taken by volunteers like a mask, hand glows & social distancing then we taught children about the importance of Diya on Diwali and explained them to do’s & don’t on Diwali.

We formed a different team with children for Diya making competition. Then we distributed Diya Colors and Decorative Items We announced the gift to cheer the kids and everyone had 30 minutes to complete the Diya making competition after that we clicked Diya pictures of every team And at last, the one team who did the best decoration was given a present & we ended up the event successfully by 12 am. So the purpose of this event was for children can show their creativity with joy.
