CELEBRATION OF REPUBLIC DAY

Let’s salute the Nation on REPUBLIC DAY.”

 

Republic Day is celebrated every year on January 26 in India, since 1950 to commemorate the Indian Constitution replacing the Government of India Act as the governing document of India and it is the most prideful and patriotic celebration for all Indians. On this 26th January, 2021 LIGHTS OF HOPE celebrated the historical occasion of REPUBLIC DAY with a flag hoisting ceremony in the presence of the unprivileged children. Proud to inform you that Range forest officer Mr. F.A. Khatri sir was our hound guest of that day. After welcomed the chief guest all volunteers gathered at Rameshwar temple along with kids for Flag hoisting. Mr. F.A. Khatri sir unfurls the National Flag and the National Anthem is played. Great words shared by our hound guest to our children regarding the History of this precious day along with the importance of this day, the bravery of soldiers also included. Volunteers distributed the package of Happiness with biscuits and chocolates to kids. By wearing masks, hand gloves, and maintaining social distance all precautions were taken by volunteers. After an amazing interview with Mr. F.A. Khatri sir event ended with great fun.
