HAPPY “NINE NIGHTS” ~ NAVRATRI

It is undeniable that festivals are an important part of our life. India has a diverse cultural life. There is a number of festivals like Ganesh Chaturthi, Eid-ul-fitrh, Kite festival, Diwali, Holi, Navratri, and many more. Navratri is one of the popular traditions in GUJARAT. LIGHTS OF HOPE  team had celebrated this precious festival with the local community. This event was held on (date…). During this celebration, volunteers had concentrated on knowledge of Navratri. The purpose of this tradition should be known to the children.

The event inaugurated with traditional rituals. Children and leaders had prayed to god for a bright future and destroyed all the disasters around us. All the imperative information, which related to this culture, provided to infants. Children were acquired data about the month of these festivals (as per the Hindu lunar calendar) by initiators. Kids got the importance of Navratri. Additionally, by playing the Garba, devotees celebrate this festival with full joy and keep faith in god.  Children were introduced regarding the review of the Navratri celebration, commented on by citizens from all over the world. The best moment of this event was playing a Garba at the LIGHTS OF HOPE center. Garba played by a few children and volunteers with all the precautions was taken by the team. Children were over the moon at the end of the event. The session ended with prayer and made a wish about the end of this pandemic. Navratri celebration was victoriously winded up. Young youth got the idea that they can explore themselves in cultural life.
